We got two episodes this week! Episode Five starts off with the cocktail hour. He sends home Alayah but he still has to do an apology tour through all the girls and their mouths. He gives out roses to Madison, Sydney, Natasha, Lexi, Hannah Ann, Shiann, Mykenna, Victoria P., Kelley, and Tammy. Kelsey and Victoria F. already had roses.
Peter then announces they are going to Costa Rica!! The girls are so happy except Kelley who is really over all this travel and needs a nap. Ditto girl. Peter also explains the cut on his forehead is due to hitting his head on a golf cart. Truly iconic security footage.
The first one on one goes to Sydney. They go fly over volcanoes then makeout in a grassy hilltop and he tells her she’s the best kisser. Like, come on Peter! You aren’t allowed to say that!!! Strike one!
They go on to have a romantic dinner and she opens up about her struggles of being bullied in high school about her race amongst other things. It’s actually so messed up what they did to her. Although, twitter did “it’s thing” as the kids say and people found yearbooks of her from high school where she seems very popular. I think it’s sad either way. Check out that whole story here.
The next day they are all hanging out by the pool, very paradise vibes. Tammy is being incredibly two faced when Kesley opens up to her about how she’s stressed about being on the show while having a couple of drinks. Tammy begins unnecessary drama that we will get back to.
This leads us to the group date where they have a photoshoot with Peter and Cosmopolitan. The entire photoshoot is amazing and so awkward at the same time. They announce that the best picture gets to be on the cover. LOL you know Hannah Ann is just ECSTATIC about this.
Victoria wins the cover but this week Cosmo announced they aren’t putting her on the cover. Read about that here.
We get a cocktail hour afterward and that’s where Tammy comes back swinging about Kelsey being dramatic. They bring Peter into it. Peter once again is like ?????
Kelsey confronts the women and says there is nothing wrong with crying. The group rose goes to Hannah Ann after she says tells Petre she never gets group date roses.
Next up, we get a one-on-one with Kelley! Normal ole Kelley is just not made for TV. She explains how this is a TV show and who knows if she will want to be engaged to him after knowing him for six weeks. He doesn’t NOT LIKE this reality check. It’s quite hilarious from the audience viewpoint. She gets the date rose anyway.
Back at the resort the girls are still talking shit about Kelsey. Meanwhile, Kelsey is blending that smokey eye and getting ready to snatch her man!! She goes to Peter’s room and explains herself. He takes it very well and explains that he really likes her. Then strike two for Peter comes. He gives her a damn rose. Meaning she has to go back to the house with the rose in front of all the girls with a major target on her back now. The women per usual, lose their damn minds and only lose their minds even more when Chris Harrison announces there will be no rose ceremony. Mykenna starts crying because she hasn’t had time to talk to him. The girls start going after Kelsey and it becomes so petty. The rose ceremony begins and Tammy interrupts and goes and talks to him about everything. Just when you think this drama fest is over, Mykenna goes and talks to him too. It’s so weird. Eventually, he gives out roses and my favorite redhead goes home! Sad day for Lexi, yes that’s her name actually. Then Shiann throws the iconic bachelor holy mary pass as she leaves and says that Peter needs to pay more attention to the girls there because not everyone is who they say they are. Peter is now on EDGE. I guess we’ll just have to buy some cheap wine and keep our Monday nights free to find out.
