Business Affirmations for CEOs & Entrepreneurs

Every day in business, we navigate new and unknown challenges, meet new faces, and then try our absolute best to automate or stick to the processes. For most of us, we thrive in this atmosphere where we either get to blossom in our own homemade chaos, or finally have everything organized and automated exactly how we want it, and let the orders flood in, and this is where Business Affirmations for CEOs & Entrepreneurs can make a huge difference.

Whatever way you manage your business—whether with clients, products, mergers, acquisitions, or new proposals that could make or break your quarter—one thing stays constant: the mindset that gets us through it all.

Business Affirmations for CEOs & Entrepreneurs

The CEO Mindset

Moving through ambiguity and taking on the full responsibility of owning a business takes a special kind of confidence, even if you don’t see it in yourself. That sense of trust and belief in ourselves is something we must always return to. Developing a strong CEO mindset that’s aligned with who you truly are as a leader, not the societal idea of the grind, hustle, and inevitable burnout, means finding a mindset rooted in compassion, not perfectionism. We have to constantly remind ourselves that we are meant for this and can do anything we set our minds to, no matter what’s happening today or what happened yesterday.

Stop Wasting Time With Self-Doubt

Distractions like social media, comparing yourself to your competitors constantly, and networking with mediocre white guys who wake up every day and just believe they’re the best, only hold us back from the time we could have spent focusing on growing and creating a beautiful and amazing brand.

Instead of worrying, wondering, and trying to calculate your next move, focus instead on doing something that you love—whether work-related or not. Maybe you need to stop anxiously scrolling Instagram or LinkedIn and go play tennis for an hour? Leave your desk and go do some watercolor painting for 30 minutes to French music (my personal favorite!). Sometimes, when I see I’m starting to doubt myself or spiral, I simply close out all my tabs and open a project I’m super excited about and just work on that for 30 minutes.

Intentional Breaks For Long-Term Success

Taking intentional breaks is actually a key part of a healthy CEO mindset, one that sustains long-term success. For some reason, business owners think these types of breaks are unhelpful, unproductive, or a waste of time. You could say the same about self-doubt and how much time that wastes in your life altogether. Most entrepreneurs feel the most self-doubt when they are trying to change and uplevel their business, not directly in a failure. Sure, a huge failure feels awful, but most of the time, we’re too worried about money or finding the solution to stop and ruminate on what’s going on right away.

It’s typically in those slow days, with an open afternoon, where you’ve added a time block to solely focus on this big new project, that those feelings of doubt creep in. Can I really grow my business X amount? What if a client gets upset again like that one time it happened? What if I sound dumb on camera? It’s easy to begin to reminisce on all those old failures and start to believe they are the truth.

Remind yourself of WHO 👏YOU 👏ARE!!

During these moments of doubt, positive business affirmations can be super helpful, but sometimes, just blasting your favorite hot girl Spotify playlist or calling a supportive girlfriend does the trick. Instead of waiting to use affirmations when you’re feeling down, figure out ways to add them to your existent routines. You will be surprised how fast they begin shifting your mindset when you incorporate them in even just weekly.

Being a CEO, founder, entrepreneur, business owner – whatever you call yourself- can be hard. Give yourself compassion for how far you’ve come. Remember you are capable and worthy of success, joy, and love in every facet of your life. Every day, return to the truth that you deserve to have big dreams and to see them fully come to life!!
