I can’t say enough how much I love this Iced Matcha Latte Recipe. Even my coworkers ask me where my matcha is in the morning when I don’t immediatly pull it out of my bag. At first, this drink might sound gross but I swear it will change your mornings. I love it because I always feel so great after drinking it.
Matcha is so healthy for you and the best part is that it contains caffeine. Ditch the morning coffee for once and try a matcha latte. I promise you won’t regret it.
So Hot or Cold?
I personally like my matcha iced. I’ve had it warm but it’s not as refreshing as when it’s served cold. If you want this recipe warm, all you need to do is warm up the almond milk to your desired heat on the stove. Once the matcha has fully mixed into the water and honey, pour it into a new glass and then add the warm almond milk over top. Mix then drink.

If you were me one year ago you’re probabaly asking yourself “What the heck is Matcha?” Matcha powder is finely ground powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves. It’s very healthy for you when you buy a quality brand that doesn’t have added sugars in them. I use Chasen and Stone Matcha and not sure I’ll ever switch because it’s delicious.
