My Easy Beer Cheese Dip is perfect when you need a last minute dip for a party. Many people think beer cheese is only served warm but this recipe is served cold and it’s delicious this way. It’s fresh and perfect for a summertime barbeque or potluck. I’ve always made this on my family camping trips because it’s easy to pack the ingredients.
I like to eat this dip with pretzels most of the time. But if I’m being honest I would literally dip anything into this because it’s so addicting. If you are looking for more of a fuller appetizer you could eat it with a baked baguette.
Slice your favorite bread into bite size pieces and drizzle lightly with olive oil. Bake the bread at 400 degrees until the bread is crispy. Serve it immediately so the warm bread melts the cheese slightly.
Yes, there are only four ingredients. The first one being shredded cheese. You can use your favorite type of cheese for this recipe. I use colby jack that is pre-shredded. If you want to shred your own block cheese I think that would be tasty too.
When it comes to the beer you choose I recommend using the typical beer you already drink. I like using Miller Lite because I’ve noticed this dip is better with a light beer.
Once you mix all the ingredients together, either using a fork or even a hand mixer. Top it with extra cheese and enjoy!
