Episode three was just exhausting to say the least. There was so much drama I don’t know where to begin.
Starting off the episode we had Hannah Ann and Kelsey making up (kinda?) about champaign crisis from last episode. Kelsey admitted she didn’t even like champaign that much anyway.
Then we got a one-on-one date with Peter and Victoria P. They go line dancing and get all dressed up in cowboy boots. She is smitten by him. Then they share a romantic dinner and she opens up about her childhood including her mom’s struggle with addiciton. It’s very sad and Peter listens respectfully.

Next, we had the bachelor nation queen herself come wake up the girls for the group date along with these two women who were screaming and hitting the women with pillows. The women going on the group date were all gifted lingerie or what one girl pronounced it “lingery.”
They arrive at the location date to find out they’ll be having pillow fights to win over peter. Like.. come on.
I felt like we barely got Demi commentary and instead got Fred Willard who in my opinion is hilarious on the show because he’s so out of place.

The final two girls are Alayah and Sydney. Sydney loses but admits that she couldn’t win because it was like an “elephant sitting on a rat.” Slightly rude but this was a foreshadowing moment for the rest of the episode. After some insight into the girls living at the mansion we catch the vibe that Alayah acts much different when cameras are around. Sydney, being Sydney, confronts her about it after the group date. Alayah admits she was involved in pageants and she does know how to put on a face when cameras are in front of her but assures her that this is still her true personality. My favorite part of this conversation was when Sydney said “Do you, like, work… at all?” and Alayah was like yes I have three jobs! It was so condescending but Sydney explained she meant it because most pageant winners don’t work full time jobs.
Then Sydney goes to Peter and explains that she thinks some girls aren’t here for the right reasons. Peter loses his mind over this and decides at the end of the night in front of all the girls that he will have Sydney tell him who she was talking about. Sydney hesitates then admits it was Alayah. The tension was so high. Alayah is obviously pissed. Peter then ends the date.

The next day instead of a rose ceremony we get a pool party at the mansion. Peter comes over so stressed about the night before and even keeps his sweatshirt on all day. I can’t believe I’m admitting this but I miss Colten’s washboard abs. Peter instead uses this pool party to begin in Alayah investigation, asking every girl his opinion on her. They literally all say “she’s fake” but he doesn’t believe them and goes up to her finally. Alayah explains herself and he believes her. All seems well at the pool party, Peter even get time with his wife, Madison and they have a romantic moment on each other’s forehead.
Then Peter meets with Victoria P, in which she confesses that Alayah told her to lie to the producers that they knew each other prior to coming on the show from pageants. This confession becomes the flint that begins the second firestorm.
Peter goes back to Victoria and is like wtf???
In perfect Bachelor fashion, the rose ceremony takes place instantly after this. There is a dramatic pause halfway through where Chris Harrison removes a rose from his pile. He then goes on to send Alayah home.
We get a sneak peek into next week’s episode where Victoria F get’s a one on one date and they (no shocker) get to dance in front of an up and coming country artist. But PLOT TWIST, Victoria goes “I dated him.” It’s Chase Rice and he actually admitted the producers set him up for this back in November on the Morning Toasts CMA’s Red Carpet show.
Then there’s a quick shot of Alayah coming back to talk to Peter. There’s no word on if Peter asked for her back or if she’s coming unexpectedly. I guess we’ll just have to buy some cheap wine and keep our Monday nights free to find out.
