Goat Cheese Bruschetta Recipe. Spice up your old bread with this delicious bruschetta recipe! This recipe is so easy and good. It’s a great last minute appetizer for your book club that you forgot to read the book for. You really can’t mess it up so make it your own! Anything on a baguette impresses people so just get wild and load up the cheese and top it with some crispy red peppers for a great snack!
I was inspired to make this after going to my best friend Jenna’s Aunt’s house. She had made stir fry earlier that day and had leftover veggies. It was a beautiful fall day and we were sitting around drinking wine and catching up. She put out a bowl of goat cheese and some toasted bread for us to eat. Then she added some of the sauteed peppers. I fell in love right then and there.
I started to make it for myself. Trying to find the perfect bread to make it with and how to sauteed the peppers to make them perfect for the recipe. Finally, I perfected it.
I love this recipe because goat cheese is so good and the flavor it brings is always so unexpected. I love how the peppers and bread bring a warmness to the meal also. Together it creates a perfect bite size snack.
Ingredients:
- Goat Cheese
- Baguette
- Red Peppers
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oil
You can always use yellow or green peppers in this recipe. If you want a spicy addition, I would saute the peppers in chili powder to give the snack a kick.
