Truffle Fries

Truffle Fries

When I was a freshman in college I went vegan and became obsessed with potatoes. My friends and I began making potato fries every Friday night when we hung out. We tried different ways of chopping them from wedges, crinkle cut, and the classic standard cut. I still to this day love making french fries at home for my friends and family. Whether you eat vegan or love meat, this recipe is a great appetizer or side to a nice dinner.

If you’ve never had White Truffle Oil this recipe is a great place to start. When I moved to Detroit, I started going to classic italian restaurants around town that were using truffle oil in their dishes. It’s a unique oil that’s a bit on the pricier side but it lasts a long time and in my opinion so worth it. When it’s not on fries, I LOVE it on pizza.

I hope you like my Apple & Oats Breakfast Bowl! If you try it, share it with me on social media. Enjoy!
