Classic Bruschetta

A simple and easy Brushchetta recipe.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Baguette
  • 3 Roma tomoates
  • 3 Fresh basil leaves  More if desired
  • 1 tsp. Garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. Pepper
  • 1 Large Red Onion
  • 1/8 cup Olive Oil

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Slice baguette into ½ inch pieces then distribute onto cooking sheet and drizzle olive oil over bread lightly. Put into oven and cook until crispy and lightly browned (or your desired texture)
  3. Chop tomatoes, onions, and basil leaves finely and place into bowl and mix around softly with spoon until mixture is even.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over mixture until evenly coated. Add garlic salt and pepper.
  5. With a slotted spoon, place tomato mixture on top of crostini. Put the crostini on plates and sprinkle with garlic salt and serve.
