Hummus

A Middle Eastern dip made from mashed chickpeas and tahini.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cup Chickpeas
  • 5 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • 1/2 cup Tahini
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 3 Ice Cubes
  • Sea Salt

Method
 

  1. Drain the chickpeas then cook them until soft
  2. Add chickpeas to food processor and blend completely.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend. Add one ice cube at a time to thicken
  4. Serve with some olive oil on top and use as a dip for pita chips or spread it in a pita wrap with falafel and veggies
